Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R)

The Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) is a tool that documents the plan that will be used to confirm that a product, system or component meets its design specifications and performance requirements through validation.

    • Improvians understanding with DVP&R helps customer develop a robust product validation test plan with if/if not analysis to understand all the different possibilities.
    • It also keeps everyone on the same page on the design criteria, validation status, met/not met, ppm, deviations, etc.

    Design of Experiments (DOE)

    Design of experiments (DOE) is a systematic method to determine the relationship between factors affecting a process and the output of that process. In other words, it is used to find cause-and-effect relationships.

      • Improvians can help you set up the design of an experiment to systematically study the effect on the design response variable (Y) which is a function of various factors (X1, X2, etc).
      • This exercise helps our clients to isolate the effect of different factors on design response. Based on this information, we can decide which factor needs to be optimized further.

      Statistical Data Analysis

        • Improvians has an in house black belt trained engineer who can help support root cause analysis using statistical methods such as normal and non-normal data analysis, PPM calculation, box plots, mean and variance analysis, correlation analysis, six sigma analysis, etc.
        • This helps clients take a data-driven analysis approach by generating hypotheses from cause and effect relations and then gathering and analyzing data to prove and disprove it.
